Summer Courses Coming to Spain in summer? We are sure you will enjoy our weather, our food, our people... Why don't take a Spanish course to complement a perfect holidays in Spain? As each summer, Colmenar Spanish School offers an intensive Spanish course for beginners. Starting July 3th, and ending July 29th you have the opportunity of learning Spanish for four weeks in a nice and relaxing enviroment. With six hours a week, coming to lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, eigth student at maximum and qualified teachers, our summer intensive course is a really great option. Not a beginner? Spanish, Lorca and Flamenco
Finally, on 13th March, we went to Cervante's Theatre to see a flamenco play based on the poet Federico García Lorca. After taking an online course about Lorca in the Virtual Class we enjoyed a fantastic falmenco show, we walked in a really nice night in Málaga and we ate "tapas" in the popular "Pimpi". Studying Spanish with Lorca
We continue studying Spanish with Lorca´s theatre plays. This week we start the third lesson, talking about "Yerma". If you will come to the theatre this is the best way to understand what we will see on the scene. If you can´t came to the theatre, you can also follow this course and practice your Spanish with the execercises and readings about Lorca. In the first lessons you will find exercises for "pretérito indefinido" and the verb "quedar"; in the second lessons you can improve your vocanbulary about the family; in the third lessons you can practice the difference bewteen
Come to the theatre!
February and March are dedicated to the famous poet Federico García Lorca in our school. In February we offer a free online course for all our students to learn more about Lorca and the characters of his theatre plays: Bernarda Alba, Yerma, Mariana Pineda, La Zapatera Prodigiosa... While you learn about Lorca you will also practice your Spanish with practise texts, exercises, videos, music... And in March we will go to the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga to see a flamenco performance called "Mujeres de Lorca" (Lorcas´s women); simply a great opportunity to understand more about Spanish culture.
